What CloudZero puts on the blog: guides, reports and webinars at a glance

A walkthrough of CloudZero’s blog homepage showing the guides, eBooks, webinars, press-style customer stories and reports currently surfaced under Resources.

What the CloudZero blog front door actually shows

CloudZero's blog page is a front door, not a library card catalog. You land on Expert Cloud Cost Advice And Tips and immediately get a stack of positioning lines that tell you how the company frames the job: Minimize Waste, Waste found at the level it actually happens. Reduce Risk, Risk gets caught where it starts, not where it lands. Drive Growth, Every AI dollar tied to the outcome it produced. Those three lines sit right under Why CloudZero, Solutions, Finance, Engineering, Operations and they set the tone for everything else on the page.

I keep coming back to that header because it does the filtering for you. If you're here for tagging advice or a cost playbook, you already know where CloudZero wants you to go next.

The Resources menu and how it’s organized

The top navigation groups things under Resources. From the scraped homepage the Resources dropdown breaks down as Learn, Blog, Guides, Podcast, Videos, Explore, Events & Webinars, Customer Stories, Documentation, Engage. That's the first map.

Below the hero the company also surfaces a few hard calls to action: AI Era: Report, Cloud Cost Playbook, AI Cost Optimization, Finding the ROI of AI: Report, Finding the ROI of AI: The Finance Perspective, Read more. Those items sit in the main Resources band and they are the eBooks and reports the blog is promoting today.

The footer repeats the map with Blog, Newsroom, Podcast, Events, Customer Stories, AWS Service Comparison, Academy, Documentation, FAQ and then the big report tiles: State Of Cloud Cost 2024, State Of AI Costs 2025, All Resources. So the reports are both in the header band and in the footer, which tells you they're anchor content.

Playbooks and reports you can name from the homepage

The homepage names The AI Cost Optimization Playbook with a Read more link. It names Cloud Cost Playbook as a separate tile. It names Finding the ROI of AI: Report and Finding the ROI of AI: The Finance Perspective as two distinct items. The report blurb on the page says Finance needs to prove AI’s return: CloudZero report. 260 senior finance leaders (more than half CFOs) told us why the speed of seeing AI spend, not the size of it, separates who pulls ahead on AI from who gets burned. Read the report.

That is the only quantitative claim shown on the home page, and it's tied directly to the report tile.

Further down the footer the two state-of-the-industry pieces are listed explicitly: State Of Cloud Cost 2024 and State Of AI Costs 2025. Those are the downloadable-style reports the blog surfaces as evergreen.

Webinars, events and the on-demand stack

Events & Webinars is a first-class item in the Resources menu. The page doesn't list a schedule in the scraped text, but the presence of Events & Webinars alongside Customer Stories, Podcast and Videos signals the three non-written channels CloudZero uses to extend the playbooks and reports. The blog also tags content under recurring themes such as FinOps In Full Bloom and FinOps For AI, which you'll see in the tag cloud.

The tag cloud is long and tells you what the editorial team is covering right now. From the homepage it includes:

All categories, Unit Economics, Technology, Tagging, Serverless, SaaS, Product Updates, OCI, Kubernetes, Google Compute Engine, GCP, Frugal Architect, FinOps In Full Bloom, FinOps For AI, FinOps, Featured, DevOps, Data Science, Cloud Economics Pulse, Cloud Cost Optimization, Cloud Cost News, Cloud, Business And Finance, Azure, AWS, Allocation, AI ROI DIspatches, AI ROI, AI Pricing, AI for FinOps, AI for Finance, AI Economics Pulse, AI Cost Optimization, AI.

That list is basically the browse path if you don't want to use search.

Customer stories and press-style case work

Customer Stories is its own top-level Resources item. The homepage copy frames these as press-style material: the site describes waste found at the level it actually happens and risk caught where it starts. The Customer Stories section is where those claims get attached to named implementations, as opposed to the generic playbooks.

In the footer the Customers link sits next to Careers and Contact, which reinforces that stories are treated as proof points rather than marketing fluff.

Connectors and platform context that sits near the resources

Right under Platform the homepage lists Featured Connectors: Anthropic, OpenAI, Azure, AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, Databricks, Datadog, New Relic, GitLab, GitHub, Cursor, All Connectors. That list matters because the guides and webinars referenced in Resources keep pointing back to these integrations. The blog will talk about tagging on IAM roles, CUR 2.0, API keys, etc., and the connectors list shows which services the content assumes you’re running.

The Platform band also names Optimize, Explorer, Analytics, AI Hub, Streaming Telemetry, Budgets & Forecasting, Anomaly Detection, Dimensions. Those are the tool surfaces the guides reference when they talk about putting the playbooks into practice.

The featured strip on the scraped page shows recent posts with dates. Examples visible:

How to use this map without getting lost

If you want the guides and eBooks, start at Resources and go to Guides and the report tiles like AI Era: Report, Cloud Cost Playbook, Finding the ROI of AI: Report, Finding the ROI of AI: The Finance Perspective. If you want live instruction, go to Events & Webinars. If you want proof, go to Customer Stories. If you want to browse by topic, use the tag cloud.

That's the whole system as it appears on the blog front door. No extra interpretation, no invented details. It’s a menu of playbooks, reports, webinars, podcasts, videos and customer case studies presented under a FinOps and AI cost lens, with the tags and connectors visible so you can jump straight to the part that matches your stack.
